Boxster 987 - ECU Memories & Purchase of equipment

Hi All!

IF ANYONE CAN ANSWER ALL THESE I'LL BE EXTREMELY GRATEFUL!!

Can anyone please clarify what is actually stored in the memorys of a Boxster 987 (2005)? (Especially the ECU)

I believe when the odometers are corrected , both the dashboard and the ECU need to be done together as they automatically update each other with the greatest mileage.

Does the ECU contain ALL the following????:
1. Mileage
2. Time running
3. Crankshaft revolutions
4. Service schedule

I have had both the ECU and dashboard corrected, but I'm concerned the service interval will come on at the wrong time? Both were corrected with a digi-prog3? So will the time running / crankshaft not correlate??

Is it possible to reset the service indicator through the diagnostic... or is there a manual reset (like on the Volkswagens)?

Lastly..
Is it possible to correct / change all the different information in the ECU (if its stored there)
1. Mileage
2. Time running
3. Crankshaft revolutions
4. Service schedule

Which is the best device to purchase, as I'm looking at buying in the very near future.
