| Does 2004+ S2000 program the same way as 2003 and older S2000? |

I found the eeprom 93c66...So I tried the menu Honda S2000 and use eerpom programming.
I tried 1 mile. Plug it back in the car the mileage (as well as the trip odometer) does not even show! I thought maybe 1 mile is too low since
the machine programs KM. So I tried 10 miles. Still no show.
I know the light still work because when the key is turned, the mileage lights up all 0000000 and then gone... missing!
How do I fix this cluster or is that thing paperweight now? |

First off, in the Diga the S2000 associated eeprom is C56 and you're saying that yours is a C66. The smart move would have been to read and save the file with any menu point having C66 chip. You probably corrupted the eeprom by writing to an address that is not reserved for mileage (in the 2004 S2000's dash). Did you, at leat saved the file, before programming? If yes email it to me at info@dashfix.net .

No I did not save file.. Sorry
I can still read the eeprom, is the current eeprom file any good?
Would it help if I find another 2004+ S2000 cluster and save that
file and write it onto the cluster eeprom that is currently damaged?
Thanks. |

| Would I be able to buy a new 93C66 chip and solder that thing on to reset its mileage to 0 and program to the correct reading? Thanks. |

You can always buy a new 93C66...but it would be useless since it comes blank with no data in it. Why buy a new one when yours is still programmable. You need to find another dash and clone the dataset from it to yours.

I am having trouble finding another 2004+ dash so I can't clone the data.
Is there another way to fix my 2004 S2000 cluster? Can I send you my broken file (since I can still read the eeprom) and you can help me fix the hex data in the file? Sorry & Thanks! |

i have a dump for one of these also with these s2000 you may have to move the vehicle once programmed iv had 2 do what your has once you drive 5 meters the mileage will come up unless u screwed the dump like above. also try a higher value as 1km or 10 is a bad number to choose. choose a 3 or 4 digit number and see how that goes
pm me for dump if u need it |

I got a hold of another 2004 cluster. C66 chip. The mileage on this one is 2400 miles. I am going to clone this data onto the cluster with the currupted file dump. So they're both read the same mileage.
Now, I want to change the mileage on both clusters. How do I go do that now because in Diga the menu point shows C56. Thanks. |

| also if you changed thew mileage if u see where your new hex value is after that hex it may have 000000000 if you change these to fffffff youll find it will work if u dont want to do this then just swap the clocks make sure they work 1ST b4 u do anything else if they do then make a good saved copy of the dump b4 you do anything then change mileage if u struggle see what data changed in the dump once you changed the mileage. then look for the 00000 after the value of your mileage and change them to ffffffffffff also the mileage can be read with landrover proggy |

Looks like your going to have to use a eprom programmer. Go to arlabs.com.
But you still screwed on the program file.....Nice job!!!
Hey by the way, where is the mileage stored on a 04 Acura tl???
I think is the same as a toyota sennia, but not 100% sure..
Anyone out there???? |
