| Hello car lovers/experts out there. I am a new driver and im really confused about mileage. What is it? Is mileage the same as MPG? Do i want a lower number for my mileage or a higher number? If anyone can answer my question that would be greatly appriciated. |

Hello,
Your question too is pretty confusing   To me, MPG stands for Miles Per Gallon and has not much to do with digital odometer mileage correction; because this is mainly what we discuss here on this forum. Now, whether you "want" more or less value for your mileage is a question you only can answer. Basically, if your instrument cluster's mileage is corrupted or a new cluster has been installed in your car and you need the true value to be displayed, then we can help.
