Hi I was wondering if the mileage is stored only in the cluster or if it is stored anywhere else like the bmw's store theirs in the light module, cluster and ecu i believe? does an ALH motor store anywhere else other than cluster?

2003 Tdi Jetta stored the mileage in the cluster and service memory.
