Hi All,
I had a problem with Toyota Land Cruiser 98 Odometer correction. I took cluster apart and do not know which siver cystal poins to join contacts. alll the same I worked directly on eeprom old reading was 141700 changed to 25650. but when i put back on car it reads 131768. please help with silver crystal contacts to be joined.

You can do the mileage correction for this car directly on eeprom(in circuit) without shorting the the crystal points

But who will beleived that the mileage is true if you will put 25650 on this old model cars? Pleased dont abuse this trade put a mileage in car that somebody beleive depending on model year

Customers at times want you to put a value they have convinced their buyers to accept, the car is clean and the engine is in top form. thank you for your response but do you mean I need to take the eeprom out and use a programmer to rewrite it?

if you have a good programmer you can used clip to do that
or make a connection to solder point

remember that the mileage is stored in eeprom that have a part placement
number IC5 it is written in PCB
