Hello all,

I'm trying to adjust the mileage on my Audi TT 2002, I managed to take the dash out & connect the cluster plugs to the dashboard. However, I had difficulty taking the mileage reading because the consult said 'out of range' I think the contact with the red & black wire cables was bad as I held them on the board by hand. Im also wondering in i put the cluster cables the right way up.

I would really appreciate any help & advise on where I'm going wrong and what you would advise I should do to overcome the problem.

I look forward to hearing from you.

You have to plug the connectors, apply the red and black wires on to their respecting solder points and only then apply power to your Diga. Go to the TT menu and input the new number, wait until it says "reset" on the screen and jumps back to the main menu. After what disconnect the power of the diga first and the other cables second. Afterwards you have to short to pins of the 908 processor (64 pin device). I think it's pins 5 and 6 counting right to left from the top right corner of the processor.
Note that if at any moment of the programming there's a bad contact of the pins it will result in "km out of range" message. If this is the case install the cluster back in the car and drive it for about 100kms or 65 miles and try again.
If you bought a Diga then you should have a manual and a tech support, even if the unit is a second hand...as long as it's original. If you don't have any it means you bought a cloned unit and you simply are on your own. You pay less but you don't get the most important: tech support.
The help I provided you today is a small sample of what you get if you buy an original Diga from an authorized distributor.

Hi,

Just a note, it is not possible to buy direct from motosoft anymore, a diga/Dashfixer can only be purchased in the UK via Dashfixer, feel free to call motosoft (orig diga makers) they will inform anyone the same.

In Germany you can purchase from Mr Gleiss at Diga-Soft, he too is an excellent reseller.

With Dashfixer you get free tech support and manuals. 12 hour 7 day helpline, and access to our great forum which is filled with great people using dashfixer everyday.

Regards

It wouldn't take many people from the UK to ring motosoft saying they would not buy from Dashfixer for them to change their mind but I believe it is possible to get hold of a Digapro in the UK. White Rabbit.
