Does anyone know where the odometer mileage is stored on a 2000 Ram 1500 4X4 with auto tranny, if that one part is changed will it work alone or will additional programming or parts be needed. I swapped out a BCM in a 96 Grand Cherokee and had no issues. But when I did it on a caravan I had all kinds of issues. The caravan issue was solved with a reprogramming and when the mileage on the cherokee was pushed forward to the mileage of the original had no probs. This truck was in a bad wreck that hit just behind the "A" piller and it ruined several electrical components and boxes, need to know which pieces to send to instument shop to reprogram.
