Hello.

Since a couple of years i have heard about a clock problem
(The clock just ticking very fast!) in V70N from year 2001-2003, but i havenīt seen it my self... untill now!

Do anyone here know about this problem and mabe what the problem could be?

I have change a couple of components, and one of the processors but the clock still ticking like it was a bomb.

Everything else works just perfect!

Thanks

Best regards

Either the axle ratio in the micro is corrupted and I think it is really unlikely or it is an electrical problem. The transmission always sends a VSS signal but a module transforms it to CAN signals. You can use a diagnostic tool that allows you to stream the data of a particular module and find out if it is the cluster or a wrong signal. There are many tools that will show you the current RPM and the current speed. I think X431 does it...but you need the OBD VOLVO CAN adapter (special for volvo) for it.

I forgot. If you're really talking about the clock (=watch=time) itself and not clock (referring to instruments), you should check the capactiors inside and change if necessary.
