hi all,
I tried to programme a 2003 trailblazer odometer by a programmer I bought from www.dashpro.com.I used the 92050 software and followed all the instructions. In the end it gave me an error and the dash is now dead when I connect it back in the car. Please help me out here. And yes, I powered up the dash while programming as it said in the helpfile.
Thank you. |

Hello,
I think you got confused with Dashpro's manual (that I know a little bit). I really doubt they tell you to power up the dash "while" programming? Why would they say that? when it is not a microcontroller that you're programming but just regular SPI eeprom! The power up is for (once you've finished) to check the mileage readout on the display. I hope you didn't damaged the processor. To check that remove the eeprom from the board and power it up or better install back in the car and if it lights up and shows you 0 mile then it's a good news. Drive the car it should add some miles. If this is the case then you just need to replace the eeprom if it is damaged and/or reload a good file into it. If the dash dosen't light up with this procedure...look for another dash.
