My gauge cluster in my dakota is bad. over the past two days it has been deciding when it wants to work and when it doesn't want to. The dealer wants $600 for a new cluster and reprograming of it. I can get one on ebay for like $50, but the milage is too low on it and I want it to read the actual milage that I have. (call me crazy, but I would rather be honest if I got to resell it ever). Everywhere I look online it seems that they charge $300 for a reprogram. Now granted a total of 350 is way less than 600, but its a used cluster and it could always happen again, and I can't afford it because I am a college student.  Does anyone know who can reprogram one that I buy off ebay for a good price because I doubt the dealer would do it if I don't buy their part? Also I am in the Orlando Fl and Melbourne FL areas. |
